Shree Pipal Bhanjyand Secondary School

School Characteristics

Shree Pipal Bhanjyang Secondary School is a community-based educational institution located in Benighat, Rorang Rural Municipality-2, Talti, Dhading, Bagmati Province, Nepal. Established with the mission of providing quality education to the local community, the school is affiliated with the National Examinations Board (NEB) and operates under the approval of the Ministry of Education.



Educational Programs

 

 The school offers educational programs from Early Childhood Development (ECD) to Grade 10, as well as Plus + 2(11 and 12). With a current enrollment of 530 students, the school is staffed by 17 teachers and one support staff member. It is the only secondary school in Benighat Rorang Ward-2, an area that was previously known as Mahadevsthan village. The region surrounding the school is characterized by more than 20 hills and small, dispersed communities. There are 17 basic feeder schools in the   area, most of which offer education up to Grade 5, with only one of them extending to Grade 8. Upon completing Grade 8, students must either attend Shree Pipal Bhanjyang Secondary School or discontinue their formal education. 

Hostel Project Components

 

  1. Accommodation: Full coverage of hostel accommodation for the students.
  2. Meals: Provision of nutritious meals to ensure proper health and growth.
  3. Educational Materials: Books, uniforms, and other supplies needed for schooling.
  4. Healthcare Support: Regular health check-ups and access to basic medical care.
  5. Awareness Programs: Workshops on hygiene, sanitation, and the importance of education for the students and their families.
